First Snow!

When I woke up this morning, it was beary cold.  I went to the window and saw that it had snowed overnight.

"Look at all that snow!" I cheered happily.

"Look.  At.  All.  That.  Snow," Uncle Tibbs groaned.

I did a little dance, put on my hat, then went outside.

Uncle Tibbs put on his hat, grabbed a shovel, then also went outside.

After Uncle Tibbs finished shoveling the driveway, I asked if he would have a snowball fight with Spunky and I.

"Are you sure you want to have a snowball fight with me?" he asked.

"Yes!" we said.

Spunky and I prepared our snowballs.

Then we gave Uncle Tibbs our best shot.  He brushed the snow away then grinned.

"Okay, get ready guys," Uncle Tibbs said.  He scraped together snow with his huge paws.

When we realized how big Uncle Tibb's snowball was going to be, Spunky and I turned to run away.

"RUN!!" we said.

But it was too late.

WHOMP!!  Uncle Tibb's snowball knocked us over into the snow.  It was getting beary cold now and my fur was getting wet, so after the snowball fight, we went inside to dry off and sipped on some hot chocolate!

Rubber stamp

I ordered something online last week and it arrived in the mail today.  Let's see what it is.

Aha.  It's a personalized stamp and ink set.

I ordered a stamp with my name on it.  That's right, A-J-D-I-N.  I hope they didn't misspell it Aidan or Aiden.

Oh good, they spelled it correctly.  It has a cool rocket ship on it too.

Oh, stamps are fun!  *stamp stamp stamp*

I can use this stamp on mail that I send to my stuffie friends, like this card that I am working on right now.

And nope, no peeking!  You can't look yet!  It's a surprise.

But I will let you see the backside of the envelope.  I stamped my name on there, see?  Now everyone will know when I have sent them something in the mail, kind of like Jerry and Ben's drawings on their envelopes.

Lost and found

I hope these stuffies will be reunited with their owners!  It would be terrible to be lost.  Have you ever been lost before?

Postcard from London

I received a postcard a couple of days ago from London.  See here, it is a picture of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge.  This must be a card from Beanie Mouse... huh... wait...!!

Ah, actually this card is from Sandy who is having a fun trip in London.  Sandy even met up with Beanie Mouse during his trip and had some fun adventures.  Thanks Sandy!

Honeycrisp apples

Uncle Tibbs and I were walking by the kitchen today when we spotted two nice, shiny apples on the table.

"Look!" I said.  "Uncle Tibbs, those apples look beary delicious."

"Yes they do, Ajdin," Uncle Tibbs replied.

"And there are two of them," I said.

"And there are two of us," he added.

I took a closer look at the label on the apples.

"And Uncle Tibbs..." I paused.

"And what?" he asked.

I continued.  "And...they are my beary favorite apples in this whole world.  They are..."

"...HONEYCRISP APPLES!!" we both cheered at the same time.

Without a moment's hesitation, we both took a bite of the delicious honeycrisp apples.  They were so good!  Do you have a favorite kind of apple?

Timeout

Hi there.  I can't talk very long today because... well, it's a little embarrassing but I got a timeout.  Somehow, my mom found out that I came along for the trip to Iowa last month and had a little solo adventure when she told me to stay home with Uncle Tibbs and Ooogie.  So here I am having a little timeout in the corner.  How did she find out?  I guess humans are more clever than they seem.

Okay, well I have 5 more minutes left in timeout and then I can go back to playing.  Talk to you later.

Train

Recently I was on a car ride with my mom and I had the chance to see a train go by!  I was so excited that I forgot to count the number of cars.  Oh well, there is always next time.  CHOO CHOOOOO!!

Sinjin's Bearthday Present

Perhaps you might remember my friend Sinjin the sock monkey.  Here is a picture of us if you forgot what he looked like:

Sinjin's bearthday is coming up soon so I am going to send him a little present.  I thought he might like some art prints of himself.

I am going to put these prints in a frame.

First I need to tape them carefully to the back so they don't slip or slide.  Tapes likes to stick to stuffie paws.

Next, I am going to write a short message on the back of the frame and sign my name.

There!  Doesn't that look nice?

I think these prints look just like Sinjin.

Now I have to package the picture frame for mailing.  I found some bubble wrap and began unraveling it.

It was a little bit tricky to get the bubble wrap to lie flat.

Hmm... I think I may need some help here.

While my mom helped me wrap the picture frame, I played with the bubble wrap and popped the bubbles!  POP POP POP!

To make the package a little more decorative, I am going to tie it with some ribbon.

Oh dear... it seems like I am not having much luck today.  I guess everyone has those days when nothing seems to go right.

My mom helped me tie the ribbon around the package.

Then I got a big box to put the package in.

I put some more bubble wrap and crumpled newspaper in there for extra padding.

Hey, I think there might be room for me in this box.  Then I can make a surprise visit to Sinjin!

My mom said she would not want to risk losing me in the mail so I got out of the box and taped it closed.  Then I tried to push it to the post office, but it was too heavy for me.  ERGHHHH!!

"Hey Ajdin," Uncle Tibbs said as he was walking by.  "Do you need some help?"

He pushed the heavy box easily with his big bear paws.  It's nice to have big bear help, isn't it?  I hope Sinjin likes his present!

Teddy Bear

Today my mom gave me my beary own teddy bear.  I never had a teddy bear before.

"Wow!" I said.  "This is so neat.  I will name him Ted."  I gave Ted a little bear hug.

I was beary excited about my new teddy bear so I went to show Uncle Tibbs.

"Uncle Tibbs," I said, "Look at my new teddy bear."

"Oh that's very nice, Ajdin."  Uncle Tibbs patted Ted gently.

"I think everyone needs a teddy bear, Uncle Tibbs.  I mean teddy bears make great friends and they are beary good at giving bear hugs and --" I paused.  "But Uncle Tibbs... what about you?  You don't have a teddy bear!"

"Hmmm..." Uncle Tibbs scratched his head.

"Uncle Tibbs," I said, "this won't do.  We really must get you a teddy bear also."

"Actually Ajdin, I already have one," he said.

"You do?" I asked.  "You never told me.  What does he look like?"

"Well, he's brown, and furry, and about your height," Uncle Tibbs explained.

"And what is he like?" I asked.

"Well, he loves honey and salmon, and he likes going on adventures, and he's a beary loyal friend," Uncle Tibbs said.

"Uncle Tibbs, I would like to meet him if that's okay?" I said.

"Ajdin," Uncle Tibbs continued, "don't you know?  My teddy bear is... YOU!"
